Replaced my rusted AC pipe and have working AC now (assuming it didn’t all leak out overnight - knock on wood).

Speaking of rusted AC components, my condenser fan is completely seized, as are the bolts that attach it. I know the rusted fan is pretty common, but not sure about rusted fasteners. What do people usually do in this situation? Cut out the plastic shroud?

My truck is running pretty cool (188 on highways, up to maybe 194 in traffic) as I have a new thermostat, Dorman HD fan, and severe duty fan clutch. Does that little electric condenser fan really move all that much air? For now I’ll just keep an eye on coolant temps in traffic and cut out the AC as necessary but I’m guessing I should aim to address it if only to improve AC performance.

Any thoughts?

Finished up working on a customer/friends 03 D2 today. I installed the PCV mod and I can already tell a massive difference in his engine not pouring oil out from everywhere (cleaned it after I did it). It was the worse clogged one I've come across. I also performed Option B on it as the 3 Amigos would come n go all the time. The images I posted under the Option B Sticky was his Shuttle Valve Switch Assembly. I repaired the wiring with heatshrink, installed the 2 wire harness, and installed everything. I adjusted his throttle/cruise control cables as they had so much slop it would barely get out of it's own way. I replaced the Power Steering Pump that was dumping PS Fluid everywhere. Used the Nanocom and reset his Adaptive Settings, and I tweaked a few BCU options for him as well. Viewed the SLABS unit and cleared the faults (all were ground faults), then I tested HDC and it works perfectly. I am done with it until the replacement drivers door window motor/regulator comes in. Then that 03 will be ready to hit the road again.

@Best4x4 sounds like that truck will be a solid one!

I took my 04' on a 100 mile round trip or so to my in-laws lake house. It's been throwing O2 codes since I got it: P1174 & P0174. It was also throwing a host of other codes that I have managed to mitigate with various simple fixes.

Question for the group - I plan to replace all 4 O2 sensors. With bad O2 sensors, how much worse can fuel economy be than with good O2 sensors? I know the mixture is affected by O2's. I am hoping the O2's help my economy. Right now I am only getting 13mpg or so with 90% highway driving cruising at 65-70mph. I don't have high expectations for fuel economy, but I know 13 is way low for a stock truck with mostly highway miles.

Replaced radiator yesterday only to have a ATF cooling line start leaking upon startup...if it's not one thing it's another. Anyone have any solutions to the crappy stock trans cooling lines?

I got tired of seeing the cut green & yellow Option B wire popping out from wire loom at the ABS module connector. I shoved a scribe into the female side of the connector, wiggled it around, pulled out the unused wire from the connector and superglued the empty hole closed.
Sorted.

I cut the Yellow/Green wire way down by the PS Reservoir. I haven't had one pop out of the harness yet doing it that way lol, but there is a first time for everything!

Fixed the front interior light, ground came off.

Fixed rattle from glove box.

"Fixed" broken vent on Dashboard. Figured out why my sunroof rattles.
