After finding numerous Vacuum leaks and having a reman injector fail, my already ailing catalytic converters we’re getting up the ghost. Bad enough that they shot out some of their innards while driving and the performance loss was noticeable.

New Magnaflow cats were welded in last week, and she’s a new truck. I’m still suspicious of another small vacuum leak, but no SES and way more power and response than with the old cats. Good stuff.

I have replacement door shells for the driver side, will be painting hood and roof soon (thinking a cream/white roof) and going to pull the flares and see how we like that (worst case we refinish them off vehicle and reinstall).

I moved an enormous amount of stuff in the back of the disco to our new house today. See pictures. Gotta love the interior storage space.

Since I bought my truck I noticed it shifted kinda funky. It would hunt for gears and upshift way too soon. I read up on it and decided to buy a reman transmission computer, it was like $40.

Finally got the chance to put it in today and noticed the difference right away! No more hunting for gears, and it upshifts where you would expect.

Before the sunroofs were resealed there must have been enough of a leak under the driver seat to get the trans computer wet. Problem solved!

Installed the 2 inch

lift is in the rig :-) wow drives so much better. Still have the old tires on it. And now found out have a front caliper that is funky and the rear ones the slide pin boots need to be replaced. Re greased them all.
took me longer than I wanted. Had to cut the nuts off the sway bar links on 3 of them.
I went with the longer sway bar links too.
deleted the cross bar in the front that made doing the front easier too.
And did clear coat all the parts too.

maybe bearmach? I can't remember exactly, they are 3" springs for a RRC but they ended up being more than that on the d2. It doesn't have a front bumper on it but it is noticeably higher than my white one with 3" RTE springs.

I recommend looking at Gray or Silver colors, with your green - like the LR Disco Bonatti Gray or Zambezi Silver. Both look good with the green. (You could easily do a quick photoshop to get a look at it... by merging two photos.)
