yea I'm not over heating and still have heat so quick home depot runs are good so far. Backed the coolant res cap off and the fluid loss is significantly less tho it's a pretty massive failure.

Default Tinkering

Just getting my feet wet here but I am trying to peel off one issue at a time. I’m working up to doing my first oil change so I checked the air filter to see how bad it was. Yuck! In the process I saw the air intake hose was completely disintegrated and in two pieces. I ordered a new one of those and a filter. In the process of that, I noticed a bracket holding the radiator assembly in place was cocked to one side and at an angle. Once I took the grille off and one of the horns out I wd-40’d the bolt and used a cheater to break it free. Success! But jeez it never ends. Felt so good I took a victory lap around the block. ☺️ Not bad for having surgery a few days ago. 😷

The relay in the fuse box for the ABS. Weird. Had to go and pop the hood on my Disco . . . . yup it was doing the same thing. Anyone else notice this? Why the heck?!?!?
This bothers me so much - I hear it whenever I’m under the hood. I’m not getting any abs related warning light so I’m not sure what’s broken that I can fix. Is this normal?

Cleaned out my aux fan. Would this amount of grime affect performance at all? Cleaned it for peace of mind but not convinced It made any difference.

Did my first oil change 500 miles after a reseal and new camshaft in the engine. Only got 4 1/3 quarts of oil out - assuming the shop put in the right amount that’s kinda concerning. Does the initial brake in oil get consumed at a faster rate?

I thought my 4.0 takes 6.1 quarts.

if you are talking about the faint ticking sound coming from the ABS unit on the driver's side, then yes. fairly normal.

It's the relay in the fuse box ticking like a watch

I'm in Rover hell. Just did tons of work in making the most expensive D2 ever. Things were going very well after a major engine reseal and head gaskets....

Today went to get coffee and have O2 sensor code came up.....
