Nice! We’ve had a lot of that this year as well. Big White (British Columbia) is a 35 minute drive from my house. It’s usually the P38 that we take instead of the Disco as I’ve got the studded tires on it.
she has 138k. Just had a crankshaft position sensor go bad. Shut off completely at 45 mph.
crankshaft position sensor finally repaired. Managed to get it on and off without taking off the down pipe of the exhaust. The connector was difficult not knowing there was a bracket holding it in place. Only could fit one hand barley in the area to perform the job. 7 mm for the cover, 8 mm and spacers is all it took
Installed a rear cargo shelf from Flat Dog UK the other day. It was a pain in the butt since the included template to mark the holes was WAY off. Next up is getting my 270º awning brackets modified to work with my rack. Then some much needed touch up paint on the rack itself.
Been thinking about ordering that shelf as well. How's the quality feel and the install process other than the template being way off. Also what was off about it in case I order one too LOL

I like the look of it, and it feels well built. I really like that I can't see it in the rearview mirror.
After screwing up and drilling multiple holes on one side, I decided to remove the upper trim so I could see where the mounting holes were (mounting holes for grab bars). Then transferred those measurements to the trim and drilled holes in the correct location. I have an extra grab bar, so I was able to get use it to get the exact location for the second hole. You also will need to keep the mounting brackets loose so you can mount the shelf, then tighten the brackets. But, definitely toss the template. HAHA
I have the FlatDog shelf as well. Love it for the added storage space for camping stuff and backup parts. The installation was easy for me as it uses the same grabhandle mounting holes. I have trim cut-outs for the grabhandles probably because I have the third row seats.
A BIG HEADS UP ... I was able to use install this shelf after I removed my third row seats (no longer needed since kids are grown, plus saves weight). The third row's foldable headrests gets in the way of the shelf (used to be in these circled areas).
Thanks @acg@OCMike. I'll prob be ordering one soon! Really like that you can't see it from the rear view which is a nice bonus for the already lacking rear visibility
