Quick camping trip with the wife and doggo to just south of the OR/CA border in the redwoods. Pretty fun trip other than it raining all afternoon yesterday. Disco did great and feels finally sorted! Bummer as I think I'm going to have to let it go soon as I've gone a bought a 300TDI 110 LOL. Not sure I can keep both with the limited parking in SF.

I have 2ea RAM and 2ea Takform AMPS mounts plates and the arms and attachments are all RAM products. I have 4 nice carbon fiber Joy factory mounts but they'll stay in the Range Rover. I'm still playing around with the configuration and I'll rarely have 4 devices mounted at once. But its cool to know I can.

Over the weekend I installed some new mounting options on the roof rack. Getting closer.

I did the same but found I had to have it almost fully deflated so I can use the door easily... So now I get to carry around more tools 🤣

New plate to correct the switch area being completely busted. Very quality piece from Rocky Mountain British

Got out last weekend for a little bit to check out a new area to camp and run the dogs

What headlights are you running? The stock 02 lights aren't cutting it for me and I'm looking for new ones.

I'm sorry to admit that they are Jeep headlights. Oh the shame. But they are LED and much brighter at night. I saw a photo years ago of a Disco that had them, so a few months ago I designed my own plate that will accept the Jeep lights with the Rover mountings. Those are the prototypes I had cut - they need a little fine tuning before I do another set for the wife's truck.
