What is the name of this part?
Unless the purge valve was bad to begin with....
Well if the new Purge Valve was bad to begin with, then the code wouldn't have cleared itself, right? Bc shortly after it was replaced with a new one, the code went away.
Sorry, I missed the where you said it reset itself as opposed to the clearing the code after the repair. Purge flow is fuel tank vapors. SAI is another emissions device , but they should not be related.
Exactly. I was also shocked by the grammer.
Everyone knows it should be "on which part did you suck?"

Here is a PDF on how to check these SAI valves.

Both of mine have soot on the pump side, which according to that PDF, means they need to be replaced and can not be cleaned up.

I feel I need to add that the PDF may be misleading after all. Bc both my SAI Valves are functioning properly and are not bad. It was the SAI solenoid that caused the problem. Seems the purge valve and SAI valve have the same connectors fit into each. The are easily confused and plugged into the wrong part. Gray connector goes to SAI Solenoid, while the black one goes to Purge Valve. Reason my SAI valves had soot was bc Solenoid was open causing constant vacuum, which caused valve to stay open all the time, which caused exhaust to backflow, which cause the soot on the inlet port. So, just bc there is soot as the PDF explains, doesn't mean the valves are bad. Pull the vacuum lines off each valve and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then it's the Solenoid. Either it is bad or has the purge valve connector plugged into it.
