Came home today and the wife said that the rover was making a noise and when I look under it I see this.


From what I can tell the ball goes into the little cup part. I don't know what this is called. I've looked at some diagrams and I see some where I can see this part, but I haven't seen what it is called. What is the name of this part?

The next questions are, can this just be put back into place or does it need to be replaced?

What the hell is that??? Is that the stabilizer bar link?

 

Yep. The ball joint in the seat bar link came apart. I'm betting the others are about to do the same. You need all new sway bar links.

 

I'm guessing that these would be the correct parts?
