Alright guys, I’m officially an idiot. I went back through Auber’s website and found instructions for my transducer, which required different inputs than their standard setup instructions.

The truck is already warm but right now it’s bouncing between 19-20 at idle and 43-45 at 2k RPM.

Thanks for this thread! I learned a little bit. It is also getting me to bump up putting in a pressure gauge.

Where did you put in the pressure sender? Any pics of where you mounted the gauge?

I used what’s called a sandwich adapter, made by Glowshift. It goes between the block and oil filter. Super easy install.

Ill post some pics in a few minutes of the gauge and adapter.

Heres the adapter, it is the 3/4 UNF - 16 version. I got it from Amazon. It’s sort of hard to see, but the silver things are plugs, then you can see the transducer with wiring coming off as well.




And then here’s my gauge. I took out the whole piece that houses the coin slot, ash tray and drink holders. I plan to dremel off the center part and put the ash tray and coin slot thing back in eventually. Wiring is run behind where the coin slot would be, through an opening into where the fuse panel is, then through the main gromet in the firewall by the pedals.




I’ll probably add more at a later time once I figure out what I want to monitor.

Thank you! I love the simplicity of the gauge. And it just happens to be a perfect fit. I was originally going to 3M tape it there but it’s just snugly fit in there.

Thanks! Do you have any issues with the sandwich adapter u screwing when you change the oil? That’s probably the only thing right now keeping me from ordering the GlowShift kit.

I just put it on so I really couldn’t comment on that. I definitely tightened the adapter more than I did or would normally do with an oil filter, so theoretically it should be fine.
