I ordered silblades directly from www.silblade.com and they fit and work great. Fast shipping too! Ordered last thursday and received them friday. Right now they have 10% off and free shipping. And no, I don`t work for them. Just took Disco Mikes advice and bought that brand.

The inserts don't hold up long, pure silicone Sill Blades seem to want to last forever.
Yeah that's true. The cheapo one's I've been buying I'm lucky if I get a year out of them before they start getting streaky when they wipe. Especially if I leave the car out in the TX sun. I'll look into the Sill blades. I know silicone rubber lasts well on the things we use it on at work.

Got 100% silicone blade universal inserts from wally world here in FL and replaced the front for about $15.took a while to get the oem inserts out, butthe newones went in withthe new clips pretty easy. Surprised that wally had 100% silicone, probably because of the heat heredestroyes rubber inabout 2 weeks.

Oh OK LOL. I was thinking that's a lot miles for a M/C LOL. That's what I bought my Disco for, snow & ice if I need it. (Don't get much snow in TX, but crappy ice storms)

Just wanted to chime in and express my frustration with the proprietary wiper blade replacements for my 2004 Disco. I just finished washing and detailing the ride and went to Advanced Auto to get my favorite Bosch Platinum blades only to realize they don't fit. I have only had the Disco for a few months, so this is my first time changing the blades. I gotta admit I was a little disappointed to realize I need to replace the arms or order special silblades. I'll buy the silblades now, but I hope Land Rover went to standard replacement blades in their newer models on the Range or LR3.

I guess if this is the only complaint I have with my new ride, I should be grateful ;-)
Take it easy.

I'm sorry but I must say it, yet another reason to own a DI.
