Default Where does this tube/pipe goto?

Saturday fun. Just replaced the heads now putting the top half on and need to figure out where this black pipe (broken now) terminates to?
Any takers?

Looks like a breather tube.

It's not broken, that's how it should be. Trace it down and it should connect to the front axle tube.

X1 ........... that or a vacuum tube, but my money is on a breather tube.

The tubes above are usually brake tubes, steel tube coated in plastic.

You also need to put a mesh across the heater air intake and clear out the debris first or you'll end up with a blocked heater. In one of the recent D2 posts someone found a really good deal on these heater mesh's.

I don't remember the size of the tube, so measure the OD and ID and go to any NAPA, Advance, AZ and get some Nylon Fuel Hose.

It comes in a roll ,or you can just buy a short "Nylon Fuel Repair Line Kit". Either way it's cheap and you won't need very much to make the splice. You will also need a short (2" or less ) piece of coolant hose the same OD as the nylon hose to make the splice (like a plumbing slip joint).

That is the EXACT tube I was looking at last weekend. I went to a friends shop and he said it is supposed to be like that. He then showed me on another D2.
