Default where to start looking for clunk/knock?

I recently noticed that I have a clunk/knock. Its a metalic soundand higher pitched than the driveline clunk sound.
I only hear it the first time I brake after changing directions. For example, when I backout of my driveway, I will hear it as I apply the brakes when I stop at the end of the street.

I did brakes 6+'months ago (pads, rotors, calipers & lines). My first thought was that a caliper bracket may have came loose. nope, they are still tight.

Where else should I look?

The Watts bushings and sway bar bushing have been replaced.

I will look at the sway bar links and radius arm bushings.

It the links were bad, wouldn't I hear the knock when I am turning? I only hear it when I apply the brakes. This has me thinking that the rotational force of applying the brakes is causing something to rotate and knock.

Any tips on how to check the radius arm bushings? Is it easier with the wheels off the ground? if so, lift from the frame or axle?

Prolly when turning too. Was just thinking in terms of a change in the direction of momentum might do it
