Who can help me out?
Is there someone close to Martinsburg WV 25401 who has a scan tool that they wouldn't mind using to reset my 3 amigos? I took my disco hunting and was doing a little wheeling and my brakes were squeeling a bit from dirt etc. Just want to reset and see what codes I have if possible. I'm probably going to get my own for Christmas. Having them on is just annoying to me. Will disconnecting the battery for a period of time clear them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For what it's worth, it drives me CRAZY too when they are on, but it should not cause you any harm. My only concern is when I have my wife drive the truck, can it cause the ABS to not function correctly and put her in peril?
Wish I were closer, I'd be happy to turn them off for you. What about calling around local parts stores and see if they'll read them for you? Many shops will let you read obd, maybe one will have an abs reader...
I'll check around to see if there are any stores with ABS scanners. I have a scan gauge and I am getting the PO 1590 which is rough road. It will not clear until I clear the ABS codes.
