Default Will adding an ‘02 OEM oil cooler to an ‘04 affect oil pressure?

I have a good oil cooler and lines from an ‘02. Will installing this on an ‘04 (LR geniuses omitted oil cooler this MY) negatively affect oil pressure?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I vaguely remember reading about lower oil pressure concerns with adding a cooler to ‘04s here on the forum some time ago.

Found the old post I was referring to - https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...e2/#post919896
Response #3 mentions the need for a pressure relief valve in the front cover that may - or may not - be included in ‘04 front covers.

How would I be able to tell if there is a PRV in my cover? New build and new genuine LR front cover from Rimmer Bros - https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...ild%85-124413/

Thanks

They will be under the two hex headed plugs at the bottom of the front cover if they are there, a piston with a spring behind it and then the cap on top of that

Nope, there are two plugs held in with snap rings on either side of the front cover (not hex-head, I mis-spoke initially).
