Default Window Regulator Rollers??

This weekend playing up in the hills, my passenger side window went down, then stayed down. You could just hear the motor spinning inside the door. I pulled the panel off and found one of the lower rollers was in two pieces. I was able to lift up on the window so the gear would catch and raise the glass, I just can't put my window all the way down or I risk having to pop the panel off and repeat.....Can you buy/purchase just the nylon window regulator nylon rollers? Or do you have to replace the regulator assembly? I just need a roller. I haven't even looked up close yet to see if they come off. They probably don't....Thanks

I've thankfully never had the problem with a window like you're having.

The 3D-printed ones linked above are kinda cool and it's great to support an individual who put that much time and effort into offering them but there are also examples on this forum of people who've made them out of metal (washers I recall). Just do a search of the forum and you should find some alternatives.

Aftermarket regulators are so cheap that most folks just buy the regulator. Having said that, I've always been intrigued by these guys: Window Regulator Roller, Discovery

Never ordered from this company, though, so proceed at your own risk.

Great! thanks for the links! I may try the 3-D printed ones. I'll post my results later.

I just ordered the 3-d ones....16.00 with shipping. I want to keep the Land Rover genuine part, that is why I'm not going with a cheaper aftermarket regulator.

I've ordered unrelated parts from them before with no issues.

The rollers have yet to arrive in the mail.....should be any day. BUT, yesterday my window just fell down inside the door when I was driving? Hmm... First time this has happened. Of course I was out of town too! So I pulled the door panel expecting to find a nylon wheel completely gone or something, instead I found the drive gear that mounts to the regulator arm was laying in the bottom of the door! I think I finally found my original problem....After I got home, I pulled the regulator out, drilled out the spot welds on the regulator arm, and created pockets with a drill bit on the gear itself so I had some material to weld to, and I welded the gear back on the reg, now my window works great. I think I will even hold off replacing the one half broken nylon wheel for now....I re-greased the rails too.

I ordered those before to have as a spare for repairs and I believe when shipped they were not brass. I was disappointed as I felt that I got the ol' bait and switch, but not enough to where I complained. In hindsight I should have though. I never used the alternative metal part they sent, but I'm sure it would work just as good as brass.
