Default Land Rover won't start or crank

Hey guys I'm in a bit of a situation here. I'm not sure why but my Land Rover won't turn over or even crank but the battery is fine. I've jumped it and have it hooked up to a battery pack but still nothing. I'm pretty sure it's the starter but I thought I'd make sure first. Can anyone can help?

Try smacking on the starter with a hammer or something and then see if it will start. That should get it to start. Might even work a while like that, but if that starts it then you'll want to replace it. If that doesn't work then you've probably got another issue. Also check fuses.

Sometimes I accidentally hit my lock button on the key while turning it to start the truck, and the engine won't crank. I push the unlock button again and she's fine. The first time it happened I had a panic moment too. If that's not it, It could be the starter or a host of other things.. do you have a code reader? If not, you'll need it eventually, being a Rover-owner.. They're cheap these days:

Does it click? I'm guessing you have dash lights?
