Would you buy this 2000 Discovery?
At 100k miles, you have to start replacing alternator, starter motor, water pump, brakes, etc etc.
This truck has 132k miles and most of the things should be done by now.
Make sure you have a good look of what has been done, and have a couple of grand in the bank for “things to do”.
It has been written here that once “done over” at 100k miles they will last to 200k miles fairly trouble free if well maintained.
And then do it all over again at 200k.
Make sure you have the $ and time to get the truck sorted out after you buy it.
This is the fun part.
