Default P0299-00

Hey guys
A friend of the wife's took their 2017 NAS Discovery Sport to a local garage. Initial issue was CEL and a late upshift into overdrive.
The local place diagnosed as it "needing an engine" with a test they supposedly did showing coolant in two cylinders.
I had them bring it around, as I have most of the kit to talk to and fix Rover stuff....owning a collection myself, including an LS powered P38. I seriously doubt the garage pulled the coils, as there was the same dust around the bolts, as on the intake....Unless they replaced the dirt and dust
I hooked up the GAP tool, and the only code was P0299 low boost.
With zero driveability issues, I am thinking the sensor is acting up. Looking at Alldata, there seems to be numerous sensors in the flow of intake air. Which one is the boost sensor per say? I can't seem to find a solid answer, and the last 4 cylinder LR I worked on, was from the seventies! I don't want to spend their money without good reason, so figured I'd ask here before buying anything

Thanks guys
