Default D2 Steering Box to GM Pump Fittings

Is there a standard solution to connecting a GM power steering pump to the Discovery 2 steering box? I know this will likely require some custom hoses or a series of adaptors but can’t seem to find the steering box fittings themselves (to make a custom hose).

Thanks in advance.

For future reference, I was able to adapt the stock high pressure line to the GM pump. I used the Dirty Dingo adapter (LS Alternator and Type 1 Power Steering Street Rod High Mount bracket for Truck Spacing), which puts the power steering pump in the right place. I had to modify the top of the bracket to lower the alternator, though.

Here are the fittings I used to mate the high pressure line to the pump.Russell AN Fitting 648060; Power Steering Adapter -06AN x 16mm x 1.5 O-Ring Seal

Russell AN Fitting 640830; Metric Adapter Blue -06AN to 16mm x 1.5 Female

90-degree 6 AN fitting

Do you have any pics of the pump installed? How are you liking it?

Here are a few pictures. It is working really well. I like having a generic GM pump that's available at basically any auto parts store. I haven't had any leaks on the fittings, either (which I was definitely concerned about). The only tricky part is that the fittings get close to cylinder 1's spark plug so the OEM metal heat shield on the plug wire end doesn't fit. I just used some heat wrap, which works fine for me as my headers are coated.

Is your alternator right above the power steering pump? Mine is on opposite side. Looks good tho, I'm leaning towards doing this as my pump barfed up all the fluid

BTW, my truck is LS swapped. I don't know if this would work on the stock Rover V8.

Did you use the ACE swap kit?
I was one of the beta kit buyers which forces you to use the LR power steering pump.
The fitment of one of the hoses (high pressure I think) was very tight and concerning. Plus it would be nice to switch over to more generic/cheaper GM parts.

No, I'm using the Marks 4WD kit as I wanted the GM 6L80 transmission. It is definitely nice to have the common GM part rather than a Rover pump.
