Default White Smoke?

Daughter just came home and state that she had some white smoke coming out of the vents and when stopped at a red light some from under the hood.
Anti-Freez was checked and said it was good to -40.
The white smoke tells me that it is water and Anti-Freez but has anyone else had this problem and know what the fix could be? Heater core or head gasket?

2003 Freelander, This is a cool little machine just need to fix it.

Thanks in advance,
DK

went out and looked at it and it wasn't water at all. There is a big pool of oil under the passenger side?
It didn't lock it up and it still started and seemed to idle fine. (Didn't run it long, 20 seconds) any idea what could have happened?, any hoses on this thing that carries oil that could have gone bad?
Keep in mind I'm a mechanical person, been racing a long time.

Confused Dad

What does the smoke smell like, sweet or burned oil?
Are either fluid levels low or has she been having to add any thing?
