'03 US RANGE ROVER NO CRANK
Hi,
We have an 03 Range Rover that we love. Things were going well until the other morning when it would not start. The remotes unlock the doors, the key turns in the ignition, the dashlights come on,but the engine does not crank. There is a new battery, we performed the key reset procedure we found online, and if you jump the starter solenoid it will crank. While she turned the key I tested and found no signal going to the solenoid. Any ideas where else to look? I dread the thought of another 60 mile tow bill.
Thanks in advance,
Will

Thanks for the reply,
I did the remotes again, tried the emergency access sequence. Everything alarm oriented appeares to be working. The check engine light illuminates as it should. I'm leaning to one of the relays that sends a signal to the starter.

Even if the remotes lock and un lock the car if the Key isint ID'd by the engine ECU the car wont start. The keys have a coded chip in them.and the ignition switch has an antenna built into it. A dealer needs to go into a real time monitering mode to see if the nessary ECU's see the key in the ignition. Another Dealer only option.[:@]
