99 Range Rover HSE Starting Issues

If they do another special for no start up fee, I will probably join again. I have emailed the new owners and i did really like the range last time. Still a little gun shy pun, though.

have you found a resolve to this problem i am having the same problem with my 98 RR HSE except my gearshift console and the dash claims i am in 3rd when my gearshift is clearly in the park position.

I wouldn't do that.

if its not sending the signal its not getting the signal from the XYZ switch on the transmission to tell it that the vehicle is in park or neutral.
