AC condenser
actually its best to get the indy shop to fill it up. because once you remove the condensor you will lose lots of oil and you will need their equipment to fill it up and more importantly its best you vacuum out the system for at least 15 minutes to get all the moisture out. you will have lots of moisture in the system once you remove the lines. plus the more time spent vacuuming the colder your system will bet. I vacuumed my land rover down for an hour after work and ended up with ac that got down to 54 degrees at max. it could fog up the windows it was so cold. Plus if they have the right equipment they can add dye and pressure check for leaks.
its worth it.
its worth it.
I have one question: there is no refrigerant as all has been evaporated for 2 years now. Is it going to have pressure in the system when I'm going to remove the pipes connected to the condenser ?
You said that I'm going to lose a lot of oil.
I will have a specialist to fill up the refrigerant. DO I have to tellhim to put oil too or is it part of the service ?
Thanks,
Pat

if you have a hole in it then no. put just release the pressure just to be on the safe side. but if its been off for two years then make absolutely sure to get the system vacuumed before filling it back up and make sure to add dye because something else might be damaged after two years.
