hey everyone, iam new to this forum.
I have done extensive repairs on my own to my 98 hse but when it comes to electrical iam kind of lost. I have an issue that both front doors dont unlock with the remote but the back ones do, now i know it could be the motors but the weird thing is sometimes my tailgate wont work unless the front passenger door is unlocked and opened. crazy stuff, just wondering if anyone has heard of this. thanks.

 

mine does this exact same thing. Its been that way since I bought it, too lazy to fix it . Your right, its the motors. The hatch will not open in the rear unless the passenger side lock is up. Thats how it knows when to open and not open.
