driver door open from the ouside but not inside? help!

my door open from the out side but not the inside. how should i fix this? its a 1999 p38 range rover

Pull the door panel and see what isn't moving when you move the lever. I had the exact opposite problem on mine. Opened from inside but not outside. It was a pretty simple fix.

probably needs a cable.
not a bad idea to do a latch at the same time just in case it doesn't break later on and leave you superlocked out.
