Default Low coolant warning and mis fire cylinder warning

hi guys

I have a 2012 RRS 5.0l sc five months in Arizona

firstly it was low coolant alarm I got Garage to change coolant pipes they said where leaking ..low level still coming up every few days .... I let some pressure off coolant resivor and level comes up then I got mis fire cylinder alarm 2 and 6

First garage said it’s not a head gasket problem and wants $8000 to repair

brought for a second opinion that garage said it’s a faulty coolant bottle and spark plugs cost $1000 dollars but could be injectors which will be be dearer

can anyone one recommend a good reasonable priced mechanic in Arizona

So if its not a head gasket did they specify what the 8k was for? Perhaps a boat payment? In all seriousness though if these were not shops that deal with rovers regularly I would leave them in the dust. I know the LR3 had coolant level switches that went bad not sure on later models though. Start by googling independent rover shops near you and see what that brings up. If there isn't one close bite the bullet and head to the dealer at least to figure out whats going on with it.

OK, now I am really confused.

Are you running the ABS pump in order to avoid having a vacuum bleeder or a son to pump the pedal?

Can I just bleed it the "old fashioned" way: get someone to pump the pedal while I open the bleeder screw.

Been doing it this way for 25+ years on at least a dozen cars with ABS. Is the Wabco/D2 system somehow different?
