Default Need some help finding some parts

I need some help finding some parts for my car. My mechanic said he was having a hard time finding them, so I said I would give it a shot. here is the list he gave me and here is the make of my car

2001 Range Rover HSE 4.6

1. Fuel Level sending unit

2. Driver side EGR tube(for the manifold)

and the last one has me a little confused, here is what he wrote
3. T.B Lower Gasket(Underneath for coolant, Rectangular in shape with 4 bolt holes in it/not lower)

I would really appreciate any help what so ever and the cheapest I can get them.

Thanks so much,
-B

Atlantic Brtish is probably going to be your best bet. I am assuming which I should not is that when he says T.B. he is meaning throttle body.

You can also check roverlandparts for some other used items like the fuel level sending unit but I think it is all part of the fuel pump so that is what you may need.

Thanks Rob for replying, your right, it is Throttle Body, I looked on Atlantic british for the fuel level sending unit, but they want almost 450 bucks, which im pretty sure is for the whole pump, all I need is the fuel level sending unit. I still havent found the EGR tube though

Thanks again

I would just replace the whole pump, if you can. Unless you just bought it a new fuel pump, there is a chance the fuel pump will fail quickly after the sending unit. If you have the time, rebuilding the pump and replacing the sending unit would be an effective and inexpensive alternative. The throttle body heater heater is what normally leaks, and is a relatively inexpensive repair. If you live in a warm climate, you can easily bypass the heater. If you are in a cold climate, I highly recommend keeping it.

I would look for a new fuel pump and replace it all at the same time, just look around and see if you can find one for a decent price.

I am not sure where else to find the EGR if they did not have it, hopefully someone else will chime in and give another place to look.

that is the secondary air pipe I bet.

and for the love of god, what kind of mechanic asks his customers to look for parts.

any self respecting mechanic would look around on the internet.

Don't know where you and your mechanic are at, but in San Bernardino, CA, there is a tiny parts store that specializes in European. I've been able to get all my RR parts there. http://www.importautoberdoo.com/

It's run by a couple of lesbians who know their stuff.

Hi,
According to me,if you should have problem with the Fuel Level sending unit. Then you should change your Fuel pipe(Air Pipe).
