Default Oil Drain plug.

Purchase a 2000 4.6 RR last month and have learned a lot here. New question I change the oil this weekend and while doing so I noticed few drops of oil dripping from oil pan plug. May have come from above. Anyhow the plug has a metal washer but no plastic washer. Is that correct or does it need a plastic washer as well? Washer appears to be somewhat cone shaped so maybe that is the seal. Any ideas? thanks

LAND ROVER OIL DRAIN PLUG & WASHER SET DISCOVERY 2 II RANGE P38 FREELANDER LSF100040L ALU1403L OEM | Miami British Corp.

That's the plug and washer, nothing more. You should replace the washer with every oil change. Once they "crush" a few times that's when the leaks can start.
