probably the most me-lined car in the LR fleet, because everyone gave up on repairing them and immediately went to cannibalizing them.

they don't run hot, everything under the hood does not dry out from the heat. so you don't have to worry about that.

u joints are an issue, but because of the up and down of the EAS not because it is jammed next to the converted with ac water pouring on it. EAS software is easily attainable and cheaply.

I still have the stock bags and compressor in my 99 and I use them every-time i get in or out.

In almost 3-years i have replaced an intake gasket, alternator, plugs and wires, that's it.

you will need a good diagnostic tool to work on it.

Yeah I passed on this , I felt guy was unrealistic on price vs condition, looked like it sat somewhere with bad trans, he bought it payed for trans install and was trying to flip it

Wanted 1k over kbb mint price and it would not pass for poor condition imo

I looked it over, told him real book value , what all it needed from visual, offered 500 and walked away, i never got out the scanner

Btw where is the obd plug?
