Hi need help, I have a 99 range rover 4.6, w/air suspension,while driving at normal speed on the HIGHWAY and I hit a bump on the road, it starts to wobbling, and vibrate, I press the brake to control the steering. I have replaced the damper, and wheel alignment. all steering parts checked ok no play. should I replace the shcoks??? the bags where replace about a yr ago. Please help, its getting a bit $$.

 

Looks are not the all important inspection, torques all joints, check for looseness in the steering box. I would look towards the tie rod ends.

I had a similar problem with my RR, all attached parts checked out fine, lookedfor advice from this forum,
re-torqued everything back to spec & now she no longer scares me!!! - I even had a couple ofslack wheel nuts!!!

So torque up everything!!
