Default 00 diso 2

I just bought a 2000 discovery 2 and I have several questions. Forgive me ahead of time because I don't know the first thing about these vehicles besides the fact that I've always wanted one. Here are my issues.

Leaking around valve covers. I'm aware of how to fix just looking for any tips on this one.

Vehicle will run fine once it's running and will start fine but once it's started it wants to shut off almost immediately unless you give it a little gas. Once you do it will Souter for roughly 5 seconds then idle fine

Windows don't work but I can hear the motors turning. Where is the best place you guys have found to order these parts?

Las and most importantly are these things always in four high? I feel like this should be an obvious answer but mine won't run out of 4h

Thank you all ahead of time for your time and concern.

Valve covers: Tighten the outer bolts(2 of them on each side) with an 8MM 12 point socket(1/4 drive is best as its small enough to clear the covers). If you decide to re do the gaskets use "Right Stuff", thin layer on both sides of the gasket.

Idling: No idea

Rovers North, Lucky 8, Atlantic British. You need a window regulator, yours are broken(at least the wheels on them are).

You should only have hi and lo option. It should be in hi option when driving normal, lo option when climbing vertical terrain, Towing a stuck friend out of a ditch, or if you just like to go really slow.

In the future post in the Discovery 2 section.

Awesome. Also there is a whining that sounds like power steering but it's not. It fluctuates with the rpms but it's the same pitch.

Also with the body and interior both an 8/10 do you think 1800 was a bad price to pay? Thanks again.

Side note: can somebody move this to the right place?
