2005 Range Rover Check Engine Light issue
I believe once you remove the coil you get to the plug correct? Same deal on the Audi we have. If the plugs/coils and air filter don't do the trick I will take it to the LR dealer and have them inspect the Cat. Here is a picture of the absolutely filthy air filter I removed. I can already tell a difference when driving it.

Most people only replace the spark plugs and wires when there is a problem.
Looks likeSocalrovershop and Rovin4life are probably correct. After swapping out the filter, plugs and o2 sensors the cel came back on with the same code. I called up the dealership and they said they couldn't find any records of the cat being checked/replaced. They told me I have an emissions warranty until 2016/120k so it is headed to the dealership next week to have the cat checked. I'm hoping that is the issue and they get it fixed. Thanks for all of the help!
I had the similar issue, and ended up replacing the O2 sensors but that wasnt the case. As for now, I wont be worrying about those. After a few times of getting the Chk-Eng Light to continue to appear, my Tech determined it was the MAF, and Air Intake Tube/Hose that were unserviceable and had to be replaced. The MAF because of the K&N Air Filter spray, it ended up damaging the MAF, so I purchased a new one and problem solved for that. As for the Air-Intake Tube/Hose, it had a minor hair-line crack on it, so that was affecting the vehicles performance as well. Upon having that also replaced, the light went away and my RR's being running great ever since. Hope that helps out.
