Default 2006 RR driver side door won't open remotely

Hello All,

I am a newbie in need of some help. I have a 2006 range rover full size. While sitting in it and playing some music earlier today, I used my right elbow to manually push down the driver's side lock.
Upon exiting the car a few hours later, I noticed the key fob was no longer working to lock or unlock the driver's side door. It works properly for all doors except the one on the driver's side. The main power lock button on the dash is also working for every other door except for the one on the driver's side.

Can someone help me with a quick fix to this problem? Thanks in advance.

You may not have a quick fix to this problem. It sounds like either you may have accidentally pushed the lock rod out of the door latch (which is very easy to do unfortunately), or the door latch has failed (which is also common). What you need to do at this point is remove the door panel (remove 4 screws and pop the panel off the door with a plastic tool or rag-protected screwdriver) and visibly check that lock rod to see if it is indeed disengaged from the latch. Make sure you have the window raised before you unplug the window switch. If everything looks intact then it is highly likely that your door latch has failed.
