Default 2007 HSE Sport Heat problem

I have no heat from drivers side vents. Checked blend door and it is operating fine. Manually opened and closed blend door and no change. Wondering if there are any other common issues it could be before I start digging into the dash.

We had issues with programming causing the problem but if you manually operated the drivers blend door under the dash on the hVAC assembly then its possible the door is jammed open with some sort of debris in it. Recently replaced a manual vehicle that had twelve pens in the box.

a colleague with an xtype found a swiss army knife in one.

The air actually is warmed by the heater core, it passes thru the evaporator first and then the blend door moves the air to the appropriate side and it gets warmed by the heater core on the way out.

I'm going to check into possible blockage today. When I operate the door manually there doesn't seem to be anything inside the box. I get a pretty solid "thump" when it closes. I tried back flushing the heater core thinking it may have a partial blockage, but it seems ok.
