Default 4.7 Ring and Pinion

The last two weeks have been real fun. Installed Rover Tyme's 5" springs (actually a tad over 6") Bought new 16" travel shocks Cage Offroad. took a sawall to the suspension and welded it back together (nice). All for the sake of GO BIG OR GO HOME 39's on the way. Cruising ebay I bought a 4.7 Ring and pinion for $6.00 bucks ok $16.00 with shipping. Don't even know if it will work with my 97 Disco that has ARB lockers. Anybody know the answer? and flame away at how the tires are to big for the axles. The real question is can I use the r&p or do I have to go 4.75. The guy whining about his Disco problems should try mine. I at least admit that most are self inflicted. My words for him are "Grow Up".

Contact Bill Davis at Great Basins Rovers in Salt Lake city, he is the most knowledgable person when it comes to Rovers drive trains.
