I would like to reset the ECU on my 1995 LR Disco to see if it helps with a few of the smaller issues I have been having with the vehicle. It's a long shot I know but I would at least like to give it a shot to see.

I have heard that if I simply disconnect the battery that will do it, but, that because I have a factory stock stereo ill need to know the code. So, question 1, Where do I find that info? Question 2, do I need a remote key for this as I don't have one?

I feel like this question has to of been asked a few hundred times already but initial digging didn't bring anything up, thanks for any help.

 

Remote key would be nice, but not an absolute must.

Dealer can get radio code for you, will need VIN number and proof of ownership. Number may be written down in owners manual, glove box, etc.
