After some recent maintenance and repair on my 02 d2, my shifter will go from p, r, n, to d and back but will not let me go down to 3, 2, or 1....I admit, in snow I've switched thru those (after slowly) when road conditions changed, and recently had to to help slow her on an incline (I slowed a lot first and only down to 2) but this is unusual....I've gotten her stuck in park and ended up replacing brake light switch. Anyone eve had this issue?

 

It physically will not let you go into the gear? Or the indicator does not show that you are in that gear?
