Default Bolt and torch

Replacing the started on my '01 Disco II. Except getting the 2 8mm bolts out is just not happening. Tried soaking with wd-40 (I hear I should go get some PB Blaster). No luck. I'd like to try a torch. I have a small torch and can get in there without hitting anything else. But... how long do you hold the torch to the bolt head and the surrounding area without overheating the bolt head? I don't want to be that knucklehead and strip the bolt head if I overheat it.

Thanks for the help.

It helps to wash out the allen head bolts (brake parts cleaner) so the socket and six extensions can be shoved all the way in there, working from front of axle. PB Blaster is the fluid of choice. May have to soak overnight.

Finally finished! I did get and use plenty of PB. And it soaked overnight, more heat, more PB, more yelling, etc...
Thanks.
