1961-63 Buick 215 aluminum engine rebuild kits


just pricing stuff for latter down the road ?

Would suspect not as engine has gone thru "upgrades" where displacement was increased, so sizes of things like piston rings won't match. Some things might fit, some might look close until you get it back together, etc., only to have to tear down again.

If you are really serious, borderline obsessed, why not purchase an engine from a wreck and start rebuilding it? Could be done slowly, as budget for time and money allows, and you end up with a great engine just waiting for the day you swap it out.

A cab driver in Athens, Greece did this. He had three engines, one in the car, one on the shelf, and one always being rebuilt. He swapped engines 11 times. He got something like 2.8 million miles on that cab, a diesel Mercedes.

No, you can not use it. Rings, pistons and bearings are all different sizes
