my cb in my landy gets terrible interference,im getting 5 pound with engine on and its worse if i switch lights or wipers on. has anyone had this problem and how do i fix it????

 

You need to start checking and cleaning your grounds and connections.
Where did you hook in for the CB's power?

STRAIGHT TO THE BATTERY UNDER THE SEAT(EARTH AS WELL) AIREL IS ON NUDGE BAR DIRECT TO CHASSY

 

Sounds like it is time to stop by your CB shop and get some feed back from them.

I'm a long way from being an auto electrician, but one thing you could try:

If you've wired the CB earth back to the battery earth, the cable might act like an intereference ariel - try earthing the unit to the body/chassis very close to the unit instead of running a cable to the battery. Nice thing is - this should take you about 2 minutes tops ;-)
