Default clunk in front end

I have a 05 LR3 and when I hit a bump such as a railroad crossing it has a audible clunk coming from the front end. I am a alignment shop and have inspected the front end for loose parts and found none. Do the air springs on these make noise when you go over a considerable bump? thanks, don

Most likely the control arm bushings. Common failure point on both the LR3 and LR4. I would check these carefully. The last 3 vehicles I've worked on, or had worked on in a shop I used to work for, have had bad rear bushings.
