Default Cruise Control not working

I have a 1997 Land Rover Disco series I. The cruise control used to work fine but one day it stopped working. When I click the button the light won't illuminate. I checked the fuses and they are fine. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

On my truck the vaccum line entered the engine compartment from right in front of the steering wheel...I would expect yours would be the same. The plastic T was not far from there. If I recall, one line runs to the front of the engine compartment, the other runs to the top of the motor itself. Should be able to trace it down. B

I'm actually having the same problem.....all my vacuum line is cracked. I know where the...actuator is on top of the engine by the throttle, and see the line going in to the firewall, but the 3rd end is just loose under the jack. What does it actually connect to? And i guess i would like to know what it also connects to on the other side of the firewall. Thanks.

ok so i sorta figured it out. got new vacuum tubing, found the thing under the jack...it has 2 nipples though. one white that has a big tip, and a small black one that it seemed to fit on better. hooked it all up....and it didn't work. my cruise light comes on though.
guess i'm gonna have to do some more research.
