Default Disco lights

Hy I'm the proud owner of a blue disco 2 I bought it with a frezzed cracked engine and I tried fixing the cracks but end up replacing the block and using old school chevy parts because they fit and availability. Now o got it running but I have a few lights on my dash. One is the diff engage light,my abs my hill climb and service light. I have done some researched but I can't seem to find how to check if my diff is in locked mode is there a way to check this? I don't have the front driveshaft installed so I wonder if that's the reason for the light being on but yet I feel the truck kind of heavy like if it was dragging or forcing it self to go. We tried plugging the obd reader but it won't even connect. I think the previous owner didn't treated this car good but I luv it so far so I'm trying to have it run like a champ so I can then try it's off road capabilities

Thanks for reading

put the car back together and drive it and then see what is going on. no driveshaft will make for all sorts of fun.

plus the diff has three settings and you can tell its in gear by the placement of the stick. up down or in the middle. But if the cable is bent from someone pushing too hard then its a new cable. not fun.

Was the front driveshaft missing when you bought it?

OBDII - fuse 20 under dash. Wiring of connectors attached, if fuse doesn't get it, perhaps one of the other wires from various computers is grounded, can break apart at header connector unde heater fan. See attached.

Ok, the transfer case shifter is locked so that it can be driven without the front driveshaft.
On the top of the t-case is a 10mm nut, turn it until the light on the dash goes out.
DO NOT drive it with the light on on dry roads and both driveshafts installed.
If you do a search you can find posts on how to luck or unlock the CDL in a DII.
