Default Discovery leaking water pump.

I tried a search, but it seems the 93 Disco is the red head step child of the Landrover world. That, or most of em are deceased, haha.

So my pumps leaking, yay. I've had about three months of no drama, so I guess something had to give.
This thing is like a fine cultured woman.
Liked to be catered to 24/7, likes you to be gentle, with a little bit of rough thrown in, to keep a little spice.......
But.... ignore her, and she's gonna cause trouble.
So she's leaking, and no bung is going to fix it.
This needs an operation, bits need pulling off, new bits need installing.
She's all poohy, probably due to me dragging the Hot Rod out for our coming Summer.

So, any suggestions on how I do it, because looking at it, it looks like I can get away without removing the radiator.
Looks pretty straight forward, so I'm going to operate in two weeks, after I've finished rebuilding the Hot Rods front brakes.

If its leaking from a small hole on the underside of the shaft support then the seal has gone and its time to replace it.

Remove the cooling fan/viscous clutch, unbolt the bolts around the perimeter of the WP housing, remove pump, re install. One of the easier repairs.

Fill with coolant (After all cooling system repairs you should pressure test the system at 16 psi and look for leaks. If it holds pressure and there is no coolant drips from the system you are good) then you need to bleed it.

Great stuff, thanks.
I was hoping I wouldn't need to remove the radiator.

Keep the water pump cover bolts in the proper order. Some punch holes in a piece of cardboard and put the bolts in that as they are aligned on the pump cover. Reason being there are of a couple of different lengths and putting a 'long' one where a 'short' on is supposed to go would block a coolant passage.
