discovey fuel pump question

Default discovey fuel pump question

1996 discovery ..just replaced the fuel pump a month ago (aftermarket) and now everyonce in a while with a 1/4 tank of gas the disco stalls and wont start until after 5 minutes and then it runs fine, no wierd idle or anything ..is this the throttle control sensor
or did i do something wrong with the fuel pump?? thanks..........

change the filter. if that doesn't cure the intermittent stall then try to recreate it and diagnose it from there. It could be anything. improper set up on the fuel pump. kinked line inside the pump.

thanks i had already changed the filter and hoses r new and not kinked..so if the car stalls and wont start again for 5 minutes and then runs fine would this be the throttle sensor?? thanks..also its about 95 degrees here.......

I cant tell until I put a fuel pressure guage on it and the like. Their are other reasons like a bad multifunction unit near the ECU or it could be the ECU itself is fried. Lots of reasons. Need to diagnose.
