That sucks. But a gasket is much easier than a block. Just go slow and keep an eye on it this time around. Good luck!

Default what next

OK ... like a surgeon i did the head gasket job over again. Thinking my first time I screwed it up. Well, t runs better than before with new plugs and wires. Problem is there is still coolant in the oil !!!! guessing cylinder crack or something I could never see. Thoughts?

maybe a preasure tester and a bore scope? pull all the plugs, preasurize the system while looking in each cylinder with the bore scope for signs of cooling.

Default I did it

My wife was reviewing posts before we gave up and found a post about front gasket leaks. I pulled that off and Voila! blown in two places leaking straight into the oil. Put about 50 miles on it and running better than ever. The oil light is coming on at low RPMs ... but I'm not scared now. Any thoughts?

Oh, I would be scared. That light comes on at about 7 PSI. Stop driving until you can do a mechanical oil pressure test cold engine and warm engine. May be time for an oil pump, or something exotic like the oil pickup is loose inside the pan. And 5Wanything is too thin for summer.

What oil did you use? If you haven't already, try rotella 15w-40 or a 20w-50 oil. See if the light goes away.

Have you found the root of the problem?

Conduct a compression test and all reading should be the similar

Check for spark and fuel pressure

Check the chamber did coolant seep in?
