Default Front Driveshaft serviceable

So I bought my 1999 Disco used with 150000+ miles on it so beyond the pile of receipts the previous owner gave me I don't know all the maintenance its had. I was going to get a new front drive shaft because they fail and there wasn't any indication in the receipts that it had been done. Then today I went under the truck and correct me if i'm wrong but isn't this a serviceable drive shaft?

I'm hoping so. Also if it is, which I pretty sure it is, would I have to get a fancier one to put a 2" OME lift kit on? (sorry if the pictures are big, as that other guy says I am mostly an idiot)

Forget what the other guy says, there will always be trolls in forums.

The whole point of a forum is for everybody to help everybody.

Your drive shaft looks just like mine. I had mine replaced yesterday, (yeah I said it all you hardcore mechanics) I had a shop replace my drive shaft. One, because my forte is audio, video, security and surveillance not auto mechanical and two, because they warranted it, three years in fact.
At first they were just going to service it, but their parts distributor didn't have the parts, just a brand new, complete assembly.

That said, I would believe that it is in fact serviceable.

Yes, you can lube it using those nipples that are sticking out from the u-joints. Plenty of post on the proper method to get plenty of new grease in to fill it up and push the old grease out. Standard grease gun will fit on those grease nipples. A flexible hose on the grease gun does make it easier.

No need for a fancier one to put on at 2" lift, you will be fine with that one, just make sure you keep it greased ever 5K miles or so, so the U-joints do not dry out and come apart on you from the heat in that area which is what caused the stock one to go bad.
