A guide to remove the headliner 2003 d2
Hi guys,
I am hoping someone can point me in the direction to a guide on removing the headliner in a 2003 disco 2 td5, it seems to have turned in to a swimming pool and i really need to get it sorted before the winter here in the UK.
hope you can help.
Big thanks

Assuming that the process is mostly similar across the years of the D2, it's pretty straightforward. Work from the front to the back of the vehicle.
From memory... remove the sun visors, the overhead plasticware above the driver and front passenger, and pry off the pillar covers beside the windshield (I think these are the "A pillars"). Lights, sensors, and switches all have unique plugs and connectors to unplug.
Remove all the air outlets, and the screw in the centre of the rear passenger overhead air control.
Pry the pillar covers with the driver's and passenger's seatbelt mountings (I think these are the "B pillars") loose at the top -- you don't need to remove these completely. Flip open the covers on each end of the overhead grab bars and remove the bars.
As you loosen and remove the overhead parts, the liner will start to sag down in places. Lift it out from behind the pillars etc.; eventually you'll be working in the rear compartment where you should pull out the push-pins to free the plastic side panels. There are a couple of screws that have flip cap covers there too. Lift the edges of the headliner out from behind the side panels now that those are loose.
Eventually all that's left is the central panel above the barn door (which simply pops out) and the rearmost headrests (if you have them). The entire headliner should now be free inside the vehicle and you can start to work it out the back door. You'll have to curl it slightly to get it through at various points, but you don't need to truly bend it.
