ok i keep hearing how its easy to fix the damn locks on the disco door but on an 02 how the hell do you get it out of the door please help me i need to get this done i hate not having them working and the door panel off

well as in most discos the driver side front and rear door locks went... got the door panel off on the un screwed the 3 screws holding the lock ***. in place but i cant get it out... ? being, "How doi get the lock actuator out of the door" the window track is in the way is there a trick

damn i know how to get it out on the disco I but not the II's its in a tight location i need to fix it

 

pull the window frame out...theres a bolt on both sides on the bottom of the frame , and some on the side of the door, the ones on the door are torx bolts

 

closer the window...put several strips of tape on top so when you take the bolts that holds the regulator to window out...so it won't fall back down when you crank the windoe regulator back down...?? that might work for you..?? let us know..[sm=smiley23.gif]...[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

put the window all the way up and pull the window frame completely off the car,replace latch assy
