Question How to manually tune radio to empty (static) station on 2012 LR4?

Never mind - I figured it out.

Sure. Once you get into the screen where you can "tune" or change the radio signals using arrows, you have to press and HOLD one of the arrow buttons (either left or right, depending on which direction you want to go) for several seconds. This will release the auto-find default and allow you to go manually through each radio frequency regardless of whether or not it is picking up a station.

My next project is figuring out how to leave my after-market Sirius radio running when the engine is off. The LR4 is automatically cutting the power when the engine goes off, but sometimes I like to leave the Sirius running so that it can record shows when I'm not in the car.

I love the LR4 but it's so complicated to figure out all the features.

the battery will go dead in a half an hour doing that. use a battery jump box and plug that into the wall and leave it in the house or work and then you can tape stuff from there.

98% of all imports have the 12v socket loose power when the key is switched off.
If you want constant power you will need to wire in a 12v socket directly to the battery.

Thank you for sharing how to manual change the radio stations.
