Hi!! I need help! My LR3 had a new headliner put in yesterday by a local shop. Now, I cannot start the car.
It won't even turn over, at all. I can unlock the doors, and when un locked, the red security light is flashing (in dash).
So, no power, steering is locked. gear shift is locked.

I know this is something simple and stupid. The shop wants to have it towed to Dealer....BIG $$$.

Does anyone have any ideas?

 

Try disconnecting the battery cables. Put a floor mat over the battery so the cables don’t accidentally touch the terminals. Cross a wire from positive to negative cable.

This will drain any power out of the system and accomplish a “hard reset”.
